One Day Itinerary for Muscat, Oman

As you make plans to visit Oman, you'll likely be steered in the direction to get out of the capital and spend more time in Oman's beautiful countryside. I'm not here to entirely dispel that, but to also say, Muscat is still worth spending some time in. However, if you're on limited time and only…

Know Before You Go: Solo Female Travel in Oman

If there's one region I feel continually drawn to, it's the Middle East. Maybe that's because it has continued to challenge some of my own misconceptions about what I've heard and read. It's an easy mishap for people to conglomerate the entire region into one, and that often leads to stereotypes of being unsafe, horrible…

Know Before You Go: A Solo Travel Guide to Lebanon

Lebanon was a country that lived at the top of my bucket list for nearly a decade. I had plans to visit in 2019, but a cancelled connecting flight to Oman led me to reroute my Middle Eastern jaunt and save it for another day. Fast forward to 2026 when I found myself road-tripping Cyprus,…

One Day Itinerary for Beirut, Lebanon

Beirut was a city that had been on my radar for the longest time, but I was admittedly afraid to go. Every time I googled "Lebanon" or "Beirut," photos of bombs and bouts of bad news were paired with my search, leaving even adventurous little ol' me feeling unease. However, as I became a more…

A Foodie Guide to Lebanon: What to Eat in One of the Greatest Culinary Countries on Earth

I've eaten my way on a budget through food-centric cities like Bologna, have truffle hunted with pups in northern Italy, and have had açai bowls in Brazil that have ruined fruit for me everywhere elsewhere. One could easily say I like eating when I travel more than I actually like the travel part of travel.…

Edro III Shipwreck: How to Visit and What to Expect

When I road tripped Cyprus, the biggest motivation to do so was to visit Edro III Shipwreck. The abandoned ship is located on the west side of the island, only about 10 miles outside of Paphos, but usually a 30-45 minute drive because of traffic and road conditions. The shipwreck looked too cool of an…

One Day Itinerary for Larnaca, Cyprus

One of the biggest questions when considering a trip to Cyprus is, which is better: Larnaca or Paphos? While I was originally planning on heading to Paphos, a cheap flight deal from Italy led me to Larnaca instead. I unfortunately didn't spend any proper time in Paphos, outside of being stuck in rush hour traffic…

Know Before You Go: Road Tripping Cyprus

Cyprus was one of those destinations that lived on my "I want to go there" list for a long time, but with little idea of what to see, how to get around, and where to start. Early 2026 would have it that my original plans to go to Tunisia were scratched due to a cancelled…

A Foodie Road Trip Through Puglia

Puglia is a southern Italian region that has garnered a lot of attention in recent years for good reason. She's dreamy. But while most people know to come here for the region's impeccable beaches, where many fail to do proper research is knowing what to eat. Puglia, like every Italian region from the hidden gem…

Know Before You Go: What to Pack for Antarctica

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A PACKING GUIDE FOR A 10-DAY TRIP TO ANTARCTICA. PLEASE ADJUST ACCORDINGLY. When it comes to visiting the seventh continent, questions like how to get to Antarctica, what does one even do in Antarctica, and if the Drake Passage is really that bad, might all come to mind. But perhaps the most…
